My computer wont let me download anti-virus or anti-malware product [C

To start with i have been using my computer without an anti-virus protector.  (seems like everyone I tried made my computer run very slow)  for the past week or two my computer has been running very very slow. And lately evey time I go on the internet (no matter what site)  I kept getting a message about the script stopped? (I was using firefox)  Firefox would also   top responding, so I thought it was fire fox so i switched to Internet explorer and the same thing.  I tried doing system recovery a few times with no change.  I tried installing microsoft anti-virus and after it went through the whole instaltion i tried running a scan but i could not find the program any where on my computer, trie norton but kept getting an error mesg.  and it would not download. I  tried malwarebites, same thing.  so now Im here to get some help.

You have Norton still active and running on your system but it is way out of date, you will need to uninstall that using the Norton removal tool

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.
  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Scan.
  • After the scan is complete click on "Clean"
  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S0].txt as well.

i downloaded norton again from century link and when i tried to use it a box appeared called norton auto fix, well it didnt seem to work
the error code is 8504, 106
