Try installing another email program, such as Thunderbird, and setting that to be the default email program. Go to the full post »

While I'm using my computer, an annoying message keeps popping up every 10-15 minutes (see picture). Even though I click "OK", the message still keeps popping up. I want to know how to fix this problem.

Thanks in advance for any help

P.S. I do have a default email program for my computer.

What kinds of things are you doing when this popup triggers?

The default mail program should just be the Mail app, if it's not:

  • Open your Start Menu.
  • Search for "Default programs".
  • Under Email, set it to Mail.

The default email program is set to Mail. However, this problem is still occurring...

As for the triggers, I believe that it is happening randomly. I could be browsing the web or using Steam or other things (things totally different than emailing); I will pay more attention to see if there are any specific triggers.

It works!

I installed a different email program (Thunderbird) and set it to default (as you said) and it works!

Thank you very much!
