sometimes when i open a window within a window i get a small window, can someone tell me why?

when i click on the golf channel i get the main window. then on the left side of the page there is listings for subcate gories. when i click on one of these the window comes up about 1/4 the size of the first. i am using sbc yahoo broadband. when i went on aol and did the sameting the secound window was normal size. so i am guessing it is in my sbc yahoo settings, i need help to find them and correct this.
