I have this problem with google chrome and firefox. Every time I try and go to a site I get an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET error. It does not happen for sites like facebook, twitter, youtube, gmail.

But every othersiteI can't get in.

I have already ran a virus scanner.

Any help would be appreciated.

I assume since you post here you can download attachments.  Download the attached minitoolbox.zip

Save ti and right click it and Extract All.  Then run minitoolbox.exe by right clicking and Run as Admin.  (XP just double click)

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
  • Flush DNS
  • Report IE Proxy Settings
  • Reset IE Proxy Settings
  • Report FF Proxy Settings
  • Reset FF Proxy Settings
  • List content of Hosts
  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
  • List Installed Programs
  • List Devices
  • List Users, Partitions and Memory size.
  • List Minidump Files

Click Go and post the result (Result.txt). A copy of Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Note: When using "Reset FF Proxy Settings" option Firefox should be closed.

Also check that your time and date are set correctly.

Start with uninstalling Spotflux Lite

It's not working correctly and may be causing connection problem.
