When I start up windows it asks the menu where to start in safe mode or normally or use settings with last working session. I select one and then it almost finished animating the llogo and blue screens every time with every option what do I do?

A bad hard drive or Windows being corrupt are two possible causes.

 

Please provide information about your computer, this includes is it a notebook or desktop, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) .

 

Do you have a Windows 7 DVD and the product key number for the present Windows 7 installation.

 

How much free storage space is/was available on the HDD.

 

Has the computer been banged or dropped previous to this happening.

First of all, let me know that the issue of Blue Screen of Death(BSOD) is still active or its finished now. Tell me the exact and current status so that I can provide you the best and appropriate answer.

It is a custom built desktop, with 70GB free in the C drive, 100GB free in D and around 200 free in the E Drive! No it has not been dropped or banged.

It is still active,  the moment I choose any like Start normally or safe mode the windows animation starts end half way and then cuts to the blue screen!

When I turn on my PC it loads the prompt to wether start windows in:

1) Safe Mode

2) Safe mode with Networking

3) Safe mode with Command Prompt

4) Last working boot options

5) Start Normally

 

I've tried starting from all of them but it keeps on rebooting and asking for it again! What should I do?

I've looked through it, and the only thing that could work is the reinstalling Windows, but I tried doing that too and it says it can't find a bootable device for reinstalling, What should I do?

Check BIOS Setup Utility to make sure HDD is detected. You can try reconnecting the HDD to make sure all cable connection are securely connected.

How do I do that (sorry I'm a NOOB in this)

When you power on your computer you need to press keyboard key assign to your computers BIOS Setup Utility this key mostly is displayed on the screen soon as you power on your computer. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL, Esc key, you need to press the key assign to BIOS, to enter the BIOS.

Okay then how would I know if there is a HDD connected, and then I connect it,then what happens?? (BTW thanks for the help)

In this situation, you should try this: 

 

Enter your computer's BIOS and check its boot order setting to check whether it is set to boot from the hard drive. If you don't find the hard drive listed in the boot order setting, then there may be chances that your hard drive is failed and has to be replaced.
