Xp Froze Then Tries to boot but to a black Screen

Hi, I am using XP PRO and while checking my Email in outlook I went to delete a received email and the computer froze i had to do a hard reboot on the cpu. But when it rebooted it went to a black screen and tries to power the monitor on but then just stays blank. I put the hard drive into another PC and it was attempting to boot from the hard drive so i think the hard drive is okay. but I'm thinking it could be the video card. Not sure was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
