If you download to the same folder where the first FRST.exe the second one will be named first (1).exe.

What browser are you using for the download?

After the download finishes, click on the Arrow that flashes to tell you when the download has finished.  You will see the name of the file you just downloaded (which should be frst.exe) to the right of the name is an icon that looks like a folder.  If you hover over it it says. "Open Containing Folder"  Click on it and Windows Explorer will open to the folder where the file lives and it will be highlighted.  This is the folder where we want to also find fixlist.txt.   Double click on frst.exe.

Nothing.  We already have a scan.  What we need now is to have the fixlist and the frst.exe in the same folder and then run FRST and press the Fix button.

Tried again.  FRST and Addition.txt appears in Downloads II folder, but FRST doesn't acknowledge it as finding it.  FRST Application is also in this folder.

The fixlist is soemthing I gave you several posts back.  Click on the link:

http://www.geekstogo...attach_id=82189

It should download the fixlist.  Then make sure the fixlist is in the same folder as Frst.  Run FRST and hit Fix not Scan.

Click on:  http://www.geekstogo...attach_id=82189

If it opens in notepad then File, Save As, to the same folder where FRST is hiding, fixlist, OK

otherwise just Save it then you will see it when you click onthe down arrow.
