New Laptop , came with windows 10, wont let me dwnld ANYTHING i want &

Hi People

Im not exactly a computer whiz (obviously) but i like to think i know my way around for what i need...HELP!!!

I just bought a new Acer Laptop a few days ago , it came with windows 10 and a McAfee anti virus. fine.

I tried downloading the regular things i had on my old laptop, VLC media Player, Popcorn Time etc.

It wont let me. The download looks like its working fine, but at the end goes to FAILED. I cant figure out why. This is very frustrating to me.

I checked the McAfee to see if maybe there was a firewall feature i was missing? But i still cant figure it out.

Please let me know what im doing wrong. Thanks so much!

Enter net user in a Command Prompt. Where does your user account show?

>net user

User accounts for \\DESKTOP

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Administrator            DefaultAccount           Guest

Is it under Administrator, DefaultAccount or Guest?
