I haven't had the time lately to frig with it.  I'm not comfortable digging around inside the case so I think I'm done with it for now.  I'm looking for a computer tech to take it to to have it fixed.  I'm pretty sure it's hardware related.  I much appreciate your time and efforts to resolve this problem.  You can close this out.
