I need to buy hdmi matrix switcher for my home. I want to connect cable TV, laptop, 1 old PC and blu-ray payer to 3 plazma panels? There are so many brands on the market. Please, advise me good matrix switcher.

That`s a bit more than a standard 4x4 matrix switcher, I had in mind that you were looking for something along the lines of the examples here and here

to be honest if your thinking of spending that amount of money then i'd suggest you'd be better off contacting a few dealers and getting their opinions or visiting a dedicated audio/video forum where such experts are more likely to hang out.

in my opinion there is a lot they'd need to know before making any recommendations, like length of cable runs, what resolution and bit colours you want. etc. etc.

 

personally i'd be looking for something with at least 4k capabilities.

I concur, the Blackbird that I linked to here is 4K but no mention of the cable length supported.
