Hi everybody!

I am searching for drivers for my mainboard cause the control panel indicates ? to the PCI Multimedia Audio Device and PCI Management Bus.

I put a report of Everest Software for the configuration.

The purpose is : I want to connect this computer to the network through the lan wire. Once, the correct drivers installed, it will be possible to do the connection?

Thanks for help!

The nstallation of Intel i845 Graphics drivers generates an error. It doesn't seem to be the correct driver ..
The chipset drivers is OK.

I apologize, I mislooked on the report that you had actually the ATI Rage128 Pro AGP 4x graphics card. Dont not continue to install the Intel Graphics drivers.

How was your system with regards to the PCI Multimedia Audio Device and PCI Management Bus.?

OK, don't worry I won't try to install again this graphic driver.
The only driver with an interrogation point is the PCI Multimedia Audio Device.
I should search for a driver which match with my graphics card ATI Rage128 Pro AGP 4x ? :tazz:

Can you post a new report from Everest Home Edition, make it an English Version in HTML attachment.

No need to install the drivers for the graphics card, the problem is with the PCI Audio.

Here's a new report in English and HTML
But I still can't change the display of my screen to improve the resolution on the Properties of the Desktop.

OK I will try this on Monday.

Another thing : about the network, I had formerly the PCI Ethernet Controller undefined. I install the "hp vectra vl420, chipset driver for Windows 98 ('automatic' package for unattended install)" from hp site. Since, I have the Intel PRO/100VE Network Connection more in the list of network card and no PCI Ethernet Controller undefined. I was asked to install Intel Pro Ethernet Adapter and Software. I had then an error : wol558.vxd missing on the system. I downoald it and put it on the c:/windows/system
Since I can't remove the card or activate it. It seems to be in conflict.
I even don't know if it is the card I have on the motherboard. I can't define a connection even though I can see on the report wth Everest that a PPP Adapter has an IP Adress.

If you can see how to configurate the right network board...
Thanks a lot for your help!
