Im using XP Pro and i find it rather slow which is getting really annoying i will put in detail so someone could help me.

When i logon to my user it takes around few seconds to logon

then i have to wait another 5-10 mins to start up and i have to wait for the icons to appear in the right hand bottum

then when i double click one of the icons on my desktop it takes another few mins to open up

Is there some kind of pc booster i can download pls help.

Check for virus and spyware, run a regular defrag on the system.
