excel error message

Hi got hp laptop os windows 10 I use chrome.There is 3 of us using this laptop all with our own passwords and login details.have got Microsoft office 2007 I get an error message Excel,  not enough memory to open or save documents but it only happens to me,if  i login in my son's or daughter name It's fine only on mine desktop I get this message.I do have  administrators  rights on this laptop?i have looked into excel settings it seems ok not that i know what to look for?

Is this when you run excel or when you try and open a document?

Hi its when i open emails my friend sent me an Email that had an attachment that's when i get the error message but when I sign into the same laptop but in my sons name it works fine?

Sounds like a permissions issue:

 

  1. Right click on the email attachment and select "Save all attachments" to save the file to disk
  2. Right click on the saved file, click on Properties and click the option Unblock and then try to open the file

Try this

 

Run excel

Click File > Options > Trust Center >Trust Center Settings > and un-tick all three options about "protected view".

Hi,went to trust center but could not find  the  protected view loads of other options not protected view maybe 2007 has not got it,Tried to upload screen shot could  not do it sorry?

 I am amazed how I did that hope this helps

Try unchecking the last box - you can always check it again later

 

"Check documents that are from a link etc"

I'm sorry, but I've no more ideas - I've tried every known fix. I would suggest you get your PC checked for malware next http://www.geekstogo...alware-removal/

 

It may well be something nasty is stopping you opening it.
