I have a really old magnavox tv without the remote. It obviously does not have a hdmi port. I bought a converter so I could connect my Roku. However, when I plug the tv in, I can only select auto tune for the channels, since it is in the basement, I can't connect an antenna because there is no reception. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

can you change the source via any buttons on the tv? or won't it go past the tuning option?
