In facebook I get this:I get a message that says "flash unavailable" we're having trouble playing this video..

But I don't get a way to fix it.

Good, I like MBAM that I use.

Just want to thank you for all your help and all the time that was needed to fix this problem.

Thank-You,

John

If you are looking at Facebook in your brand new Opera browser it's possible that it doesn't have the Flash plugin yet.  Try reinstalling Adobe Flash.

Hello again,

I installed Flash Player, but I get this:

The Shockwave Flash Plug-in has stopped working on this page.

Got this on Facebook when I tried to play a game.

In Opera, I went to a page to look up some info and got this:

Flash Plug-in failed to load.

Do I need Google Chrome, only because I use Gmail............

 Opera:

Perhaps you got a bad download?  Try it again.  http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash

I suppose you could try an older version of flash and see if that works:

https://adobe-flash-...n.softonic.com/

won't be very secure but since you're on XP that's a given.

Works sometimes. Don't know what can be wrong.

One time it will work, the next time I get a little black leggo piece with a sad face.

Went into my control panel, add/remove, looked like the same program.

Adobe Flash Player 24 PPAPI-----but across to right side-----didn't show size or mb

I uninstalled Adobe 24 and installed the Softonic Version, but it still came up with Adobe 24.

When I first went on it, it read  Shockwave Flash Plug-in has stopped working on this page,

with the little black leggo piece with a sad face. It had a reload page button, I did that twice.

It finally worked, a little slow, but hope it keeps working.

Do I need to have Google Chrome installed to use Gmail?   I use Gmail.

If so, is their any way around it?

You do not need Chrome to use gmail.  Any browser should work.

Thank-You, I needed to know so I can now remove Google Chrome.

No such luck with the game status;

I still been getting:

The Shockwave Flash Plug-in has stopped working on this page,

which has a  little black leggo piece with a sad face on the screen.
