You're welcome SleepyDude!
Hi tyler4402,
When I click on the
button using my Firefox browser, my browser does ask if I would like to save the password, which I do, it does save my log on information so that next time I do not have to go through the process of acquiring a new password.
If you allow your browser to save your log on information, the next time you click on the
Sign In button that I displayed above, instead of clicking on
I've forgotten my password as shown below, just click inside the
Username or email: and the
Password: fields your log on information should appear so that all you have to do is click on the
blue Sign In button at the bottom of the box and that will log you into the site.
Do note: Every time that you click on
I've forgotten my password, the previous temporary password you entered will be erased and a new password will be generated and sent in an email notification so you have to go the through the process again.
If your browser is not offering to save your password, let us know which browser you are using and we can guide you on how to tweak your browser into saving passwords so you don't have to continually go through the lost password process every time you visit the forum, at least till we can get this feature corrected.
Hopefully this information will make it a bit easier for you till we can get the maintenance man in here to fix the problem.
We will keep you informed...
Donna
