Why might I be having this continual problem? It seems with each succeeding month the "Tuesday Patches" are taking longer and longer. Today when the download icon appeared in the taskbar, it stayed on 66% for a LONG time, then got "stuck" again at 90%. Installation also takes an inordinately long time. I actually timed the process today - it took just about 70 minutes to download an install - a long time for 3 updates.

 

System specs:

OS – Windows 7 – 64 bit, SP1

CPU – Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86 GHz

RAM – 3 GB Dual Channel DDR2 @ 3.32 MHz

Motherboard – HP 0A60h XU1 processor

Graphics – Intel Q965/Q963 Express chipset

HD – 977GB Samsung HD 103 SI ATA

 

Any recommendations?

I don;t have a recommendation to speed that process up. Lets see how it goes next month.
