So i got a brand new gaming computer already put together. everything has been working fine. I had both HDMI and DVI cables in and the monitor was going through DVI. I wanted to make it go through HDMI so i turned off the PC and disconnected the DVI cable, turned the computer back on but i saw that the monitor didnt automatically start when the PC did, like how it normally would. I had to manually turn on the monitor screen and it says "No Signal" and then turns off again. i tried reconnecting DVI cable and it doesnt recognise it either. I then took out all the external cables from both Pc and monitor for about 1 minute and then connected and tried to start up but it still didnt automatically turn on and gave the message after manually turning pn "No Signal" all help is appreciated P.S im not an expert with conputer parts

We will need some info on the computer specs I`m afraid, if the computer was preassembled, do you have a link to the computer at the place of purchase, alternatively can you tell us at least the processor, motherboard and any add on video card information.

 

If you are really unsure about checking this out yourself you should return the computer to the place of purchase and have them sort it out, the reasons for this are twofold, you may need to open up the case to work inside of it and by doing so you may void any warranty,

No way of knowing for sure and we will need the requested info before we can even make a start on any potential troubleshooting.
