Hi, thanks in advance for your help. I've got some rather nasty spyware/adware/malware/scumware on my system that pops up loadingwebsite.com frequently. I have run Spybot, Spyware Doctor, Ad-Aware, and finally Hijack This.

I have also noticed that a new application called OIN is in my programs list. When I went to uninstall it, it launched [removed], and instructed me to download their uninstaller. Of course I don't trust them. Please help: it won't go away. Here is my Hijack This log:

You have the latest version of VX2. Download L2mfix from one of these two locations:

http://www.atribune....oads/l2mfix.exe
http://www.downloads....org/l2mfix.exe

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run option #2 OR any other files in the l2mfix folder until you are asked to do so!

Close any programs you have open since this step requires a reboot.

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then pressing enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it back into this thread, along with a new hijackthis log, and we'll clean up what's left. :tazz:

IMPORTANT: Do NOT run any other files in the l2mfix folder unless you are asked to do so!

First, download, install, and run CleanUp! (so the scan won't take as long because cleanup will clear temporary files) *NOTE* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temp/temporary folders. If you have anything in a temp folder, backup it up or move it to a permanent folder prior to running Cleanup!

Please download Ewido Security Suite
  • Install ewido security suite
  • Launch ewido, there should be a big E icon on your desktop, double-click it.
  • The program will prompt you to update click the OK button
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Click on Start
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.

Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Reboot into Safe Mode, you can do this by restarting your computer, then contiunally tapping F8 until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter. Then, run Ewido.
  • Click on scanner
  • Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
    • Binder
    • Crypter
    • Archives
  • Click on Start Scan
  • Let the program scan the machine
While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean the first infected file it finds. Choose "clean", then put a check next to "Perform action on all infections" in the left corner of the box so you don't have to sit and watch Ewido the whole time. Click OK.

Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report
  • Save the report to your desktop
Reboot into normal mode.

Then, please run this online virus scan:
ActiveScan

Save the results from ActiveScan.

I need you to post the log from Ewido, the log from ActiveScan and a new HiJackThis log.

Hi, I am desperate for help. I posted a few days back, but I haven't been able to re-address the problems I've been having. I have multiple infections; Nail.exe keeps coming up, I'm overwhelmed by pop-ups, I have an application called OIN installed that will not uninstall, and most alarmingly of all, my taskbar has vanished and will not return, even after reboot. Please help me. My Hijack This log is below. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and just to add on, I've run Ewido, Spybot, Ad-Aware, Hijack This, Spy Doctor, and the nailfix application. I'm just not sure where to go from here.

A staff member moved your new topic back to your original topic...

If I help you again are you going to come back this time to finish cleaning your system instead of disappearing again?

I need you to do this again:

I do not see an anti-virus program in your log, You definitely need to download an Anti-virus program. Here is an excellent free one: AVG

I need you to download AVG, then run a full system scan before continuing...

Then, Let's do this:

Download MWav eScan

Reboot into Safe Mode (important!)

Once in Safe Mode, double-click mwav.exe, then click "unzip". On the main page, leave everything checked and put a check next to "drive", then click "scan clean" (the scan may take a couple of hours to run). While the scan is in progress, there will be a window listing infected items. When it's done, please highlight the items in that window, then press CTRL+C to copy it then paste it into Notepad and save it.

Reboot into normal mode.

Copy the contents of the notepad you saved and paste it here.
