My laptop is running on Windows 8 (I had a bad experience with Windows 10). Lately, my browser just shuts down out of nowhere, and then sometimes my computer tries to shut down. It does this on Chrome and Firefox. I haven't tried it on any other browser. I originally began this post on my laptop, but the browser crashed twice so I'm doing it from my phone.

Can anyone please tell me how to make this stop? I have Avast antivirus, ccleaner, and Advanced System Care - all the latest versions. I think I may have a beta version of ASC. Thanks in advance!

If you are only experiencing the problem in the browsers then I would recommend that you make sure and clean all the cookies, cache and internet temporary files out either by running ccleaner or resetting your browsers. If you need further guidance let me know.

You should check your hard drive. May be due to hard drive problems.
