Can someone please tell me the purpose of the lunar-like key on the Dell keypad, the key located just above the Clear, key?

I just noticed it. Is it useful, for what?   Thanks. ... batpark

Have you got a part number for the keypad or can you post a picture?

It is the sleep key:

It can put the machine to sleep or wake it up or perhaps nothing, depending on how the machine is setup.

RKinner: The "lunar" key is right over the CLEAR key, in the top right.
