Hey Geeks,
I’ve got an interesting security question.
I met a guy on line some time ago and we email daily, discussing computers specifically and life in general.
He’s up on computers, visits hacking sites, and is a big fan of Linux. He has built me a hard drive with a couple of Linux operating systems installed. And more recently sold me one of his old computers. He talked about installing software (something called RealVNC), whereby he could link our computers and do repairs to mine if the need should arrive.
Okay, how secure am I?
If I start entering passwords and banking information onto his old computer, what are the chances he will be privy to my private and personal information?
Comments please…
