I don't know how often other members of this forum use MS OneNote. But for me it is necessary program almost every day. During saving last data in file, OneNote hanged and after it closed. Probably something happened with my computer, but after this, I can't open my working .one file. How to do it? Because Google didn't help me. I use MS OneNote 2007 on Win 7 x32.

Hi Jack May and welcome to our forums

:welcome:

I think the easiest way, may be just to use your latest back up and restore the file from there:

Here's how:

Restore onenote recods from a backup file or alternative variant to use some useful resources from Google Search…

You can restore notebook sections or entire notebooks by using OneNote backup files. For each section that you restore, OneNote creates a new section in your notebook with the name Section Name (On Date), where Section Name is the name of the original section and Date is the date the section was last saved.

1.     On the File menu, click Open Backup.

2.     In the Open Backup dialog box, in the Backup folder, double-click the notebook folder that contains the file or files that you want to restore.

3.     Select one or more backup files to restore, and then click Open.
