Hello,

A few days ago I broke the audio port on the front/top of my case. No longer usable.

What's confusing about it is that the sound card no longer shows up as a playback device if I have speakers/headphones plugged in to the card directly. When I plug speakers into it, it just shows up as Realtek Audio instead of Sound Blaster Fx. It still shows up as Sound Blaster Audio Controller in device manager under sound, video, and game controllers, but nothing in audio input/output. Am I off or is something awry here? Did the card short when the front audio port broke maybe?

Unrelated, I've started to get strange and new FPS lag/screen flashes of glitchiness & color while playing games after this happened. I ran several benchmarks and synthetic benchmarks and everything says it's normal. I could probably make another thread for this, but thought I'd mention it now for troubleshooting relevance purposes. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

:welcome:   zetsur1n,

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
