Hello,

I recently had to wipe my hard drive and restore windows 10 Pro.

I use windows defender for my anti-virus, as you probably know, there is a little shield that displays in the task bar showing the status of the defender.  This shield disappears when I restore from the screensaver.  What i do notice it that sometimes (seemingly when the screensaver has only been active for less than 5 or 6 hours) that when I restore the shield is still there, but when the screensaver is active for longer periods of time, I see the entire desktop refresh including the task bar.  What I mean by that is, when I restore from the screensaver all data, text and icons are gone (not the desktop picture or the color of the task bar).  Within a second you can watch all of these items repopulate, including all the icons, data and text.  It is when this happens that I lose the defender shield, but that is the only thing that disappears.  Everything comes back as it was but the shield.

I like having the shield showing the status of Windows defender,

Anyone have any ideas?
