You might try the extended test with repair again. It seems to have dropped the number of bad sectors from 74 to 69. Sometimes it takes several tries to fix everything.

C5
Attribute name Current Pending Sector Count
Real value 68
Current 200
Worst 200
Threshold 0
Raw Value 0000000044
Status Good
Just went down 1 count this time.
FYI:
DescriptionCurrent Pending Sector Count S.M.A.R.T. parameter is a critical parameter and indicates the current count of unstable sectors (waiting for remapping). The raw value of this attribute indicates the total number of sectors waiting for remapping. Later, when some of these sectors are read successfully, the value is decreased. If errors still occur when reading some sector, the hard drive will try to restore the data, transfer it to the reserved disk area (spare area) and mark this sector as remapped.
Please also consult your machines's or hard disks documentation.
RecommendationsThis is a critical parameter. Degradation of this parameter may indicate imminent drive failure. Urgent data backup and hardware replacement is recommended.

I suppose you can keep trying a few more times and watch the parameter in Speccy. (No need to post each time and please when you do post remove the serial number from the log first.) However, unless it starts getting better soon I think you should plan on cloning the drive. While you have the PC apart to change the drive, remove the fan (NOT THE HEATSINK) and vacuum out the interface between the fan and heatsink and any airvents as it appears to be running a bit hot.

It does look a lot better tho I'm not sure why. The number of reallocated sectors remains at 1 but the number pending is down to 6. Perhaps it really does repair sectors instead of switching them out. Have you done the disk check recently?

No I haven't done a chkdsk since the last one I posted - and I haven't done a WESTERN DIGITAL digital scan since the last speccy report I sent you

Do you want that I should chkdsk or WD scan?

Try the chkdsk.
