Hi G2G! I am having trouble with playing back some of my cd's on my computer, background is that i recently rebuilt my machine with a new SSD. so i am now reinstalling software etc. so yesterday i installed I tunes and tried to reinstall my music... some cd's needed to be ripped back into I tunes, one in particular was very distorted, I have tested it on my stereos cd player and it works fine there, so the CD itself is ok, I have also tried other music CD;s and they work ok on my PC... drivers say they are up to date... running out of options for my limited skills! :-) thanks for help!

Hello londonkj,

Is there any connection between the disks that you are having issues with, are they retail or burned disks, if burned are the problem disks the same brand etc.

Hi,

they are retail discs... the only connection is that they are the same band! very strange! ha ha

they load and play but are very distorted, i have cleaned the discs, and they work on other devices...

also, thanks Phillpower2 for the previous help with the new SSD install.... apart from the DC/DVD problem it is working sweet!

thanks

What media player are you using and have you tried playing the disks using an alternative.

Not sure if you have seen it but an iTunes help page here
