windows 10 updating and now notebook wont work

I was on my HP notebook and it had an update for windows 10. while updating it stopped working and now my notebook wont turn on. All I get is Recovery, your PC/device needs to be repaired. However it wont read a usb with the recovery. Can you help please?

Can you post the model name or number of the HP notebook so that we can do some research on the specs etc.

 

However it wont read a usb with the recovery

 

 

What type of recovery are you referring to, is it a recovery device that you made yourself, HP recovery drive for example.
