There is a driver for the touch pad under Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices.

but it appears older than what you now have.
The Ralink WiFi driver appears to be the same one you have.
I would like to update this one:

See if you can get one of the newer intel drivers to install:

Click on Show More to see all of the available drivers. The newest one doesn't work with Win 7 64 but some of the older ones do.

This driver passes data to the hard drive so if it has hiccups you will have a very slow system. Early versions had lots of problems.
If you get a newer version installed try Latency Monitor again.
You can try HD Tune:

Click on hdtune_255.exe to download then right click and Run As Admin.
Once you get the program up just press Start and wait until it finishes. What is the Average Transfer Rate (or just post a screenshot)
You could also use some more RAM. You only have 3 GB. I think that's why we are seeing the page faults from Avast.
You could replace the 1 GB RAM with a 4 GB for about $24. Amazon has:
