Not sure if I'm in the right section, so please re-direct me if there is a problem.

I do not have data on my android phone and only use WiFi at my home. Google or Android has done an update on their systems and now for some reason I can't get some of my options or security measures back working. I always have my location logged off, I don't want to use if and don't need it for any reason since I don't do any maps or gps from my phone, but now my phone restarts constantly and every time it does my location is back on. Also, with the last update my spell checker options is turned off in my langauges and grayed out so that I can no longer turn it on. When I click on options in my Messages I get a message that states "Please allow Storage permission to let TouchPal to access information like keyboard themes, emojis and fonts....I do havea theme downloaded and it WAS working fine up til the update decided to happen. It's also hiding a number of my contacts. Unless I try searching for them they are not in the list, and I don't have my contacts in any groups or anything

Also I have found a program called DR Fone, which states I can back up my entire phone to my computer including contacts, messages, music, etc etc which is what I'm looking for. I do not want to have any of my contact or any information in the google account that I had to set up for some of my programs...I'm wondering if this is a good program or if there is another that would be a lot better for me to use.

Only because I"m thinking in order to get my missing sections of programs back I'm going to have to do a complete reset...

Thank you for any help you are able to provide me

Thank you for the suggestion. I am not willing to pay $40 for a program though...these things should come with the phone or on the website for download. If cell phone companies can not make their systems work properly after they have required you do to an update you never requested then they should be required to have programs for free to fix their errors and reset their systems.....its all just more money grabbing ....sorry sir I am not upset at you, and I do appreciate your help with this matter. I've just had a lot of crap with the last 2 phones that I have owned and with limited resources have enough problems just getting one I'm paying hundreds of dollars for every 3 months
