It used to, but now if I want to contact someone like a Web page admin and click on the link to the email address, it opens Yahoo mail, but no address is showing the address bar. I am using Firefox 65.0 and a Windows 7 - 64bit OS and basic Yahoo email.

Can you give us the URL (link) to the page containing the email address you want to click on and send an email to?

http://zone.msn.com/en-us/home

Bottom of page on the right is a hyperlink to contact them.

It also happens on other pages, also.

When I click the "Feedback" link at the bottom right of that page, a new email window opens with "[email protected]" in the "To:" field, "MSN Games Support" in the "Subject:" line and a blinking vertical cursor waiting for me to type in the Body of the email.

Do you have Yahoo setup as your default email handler? Here's Yahoo's instructions: Make Yahoo Mail the default email in Windows or your web browser

Hmmm, weird. Time to contact Yahoo and see if they might have broken something(?): https://io.help.yaho...&y=PROD_MAIL_ML

Apparently this is a known problem with the latest versions of Firefox, going by the posts here:
