Received much appreciated help in the past.

There are two folders in the C drive:

FRST has Hives/Logs/Quarantine (nothing in Quarantine folder).  Moved folder to desktop and downloaded FRST and then uninstalled in an effort to remove all folders.  Uninstalled ok but still left folder.

and AdwCleaner  Quarantine folder is empty.

Can I just delete both folders?

Thanks.

Hi,

If the folder is located at C:\FRST, you can rename FRST.exe/FRST64.exe to uninstall.exe and then run it. If you have since moved the C:\FRST folder to another location, you can delete it.

You can delete the AdwCleaner quarantine folder.

Thanks for the prompt response.  I was probably not clear.  But I have an AdwCleaner folder that includes the quarantine folder and other files in the C drive.  I removed the entire AdwCleaner folder and the FRST folder (which includes ERDNT).  Right now both sitting in the Recycler folder in case I need to reverse.

Hi,

But I have an AdwCleaner folder that includes the quarantine folder and other files in the C drive.

What are the names of the other files?

Thanks.

Hi,

If the helper who was assisting you has deemed your system clean, then you can delete the folders.
