I threw the Netgear N750 into the trash when it would no longer connect to the Internet.  I am finding shopping for a new one very frustrating.  PC Mag had some choices but when you do a review on them, too many negative possibilities.    We have a small home and only need a router when grand kids are here.   Are there good choices to consider (longevity more than 14 months) for our circumstances?  Something under 100.00 would be ideal.

a good router doesn't have to cost a lot.  I like the tp-link routers.  They have good support, affordable, and work great.

I have installed 3 of these at work and one at my home.
