Hmmm, odd.  Just now I went ahead and uninstalled that 5.1.5603 version to reinstall it so that I would get prompted again to update to that version 6.  This time I didn't get prompted.  Oh well.  I guess I'll just go with that 5.1.5603 version.

You could also try version 7 of Macrium Reflect and change the PE version to 3.1 or 4 as shown in post 12.

That's certainly an option to play around with, 123Runner.  There IS though a giant Pterodactyl in the oinment, at least with wanting to just up and trying it right here and now.  As I alluded to, I have Dial Up Internet.  So, for example, the pe10_1709x86 PE Windows that I have right now ... that zip file is 330 MB in size.  So likewise, wanting to try and download another different PE Windows version, that would be a HUGE No Go for my Dial Up.  When I downloaded my current PE Windows zip file and the 91.6 MB Macrium Reflect Free 7.2.4063 setup file, I did that on my sister's High Speed Internet onto my flash drive.

 

In contrast, the Macrium Reflect Free 5.1.5603 setup file that I downloaded yesterday with my Dial Up was only 32.2 MB and that Linux Rescue Media data ... I don't know what size that was, but it was a very quick, very tolerable write onto a DVD.  I think that Linux Rescue Media data download was 5 minutes tops if that.

 

So because of my Dial Up, it looks like the Linux route is what I have to go with for now.  I only periodically go over to my sister's house or to my brother's house to use their High Speed.
