Hi Guys long time no talk.
I have bricked my S5 phone and was wondering if there is a way to get it going again.
Purchased a new S8 some time ago which started having known issues out of the blue and needed to go back to Samsung. They won't give me a replacement phone so drag out my S5 to use in the meantime.
I did a factory reset on it which seemed to work but then it would not boot or started to boot but came up with the "set warranty bit : kernel" okay after reading a fair bit regarding this I downloaded Odin3 and the current firmware for the S5 and proceeded to load this. I kept on getting a Fail message on this and now I have a "set warranty bit : recovery" message on the S5 and cannot get around it.
It there something I can do now or have I totally bricked it and simply need to chuck it in the recycling bin?
Many thanks in anticipation.
