I bought a new laptop for gaming about 3 years ago ... still runs great ... but I have a major concern now.

Laptop has 2 Hard Drives on it ... a SSD with 250GB on it and a standard HD with 1TB on it ...

My SSD has the operating system on it and I've tried to put very little on that drive if anything, but, there was only about 15GB space left on it and I ran CCleaner and now there's only 17GB on it.

Can someone tell me what is going on and how to get rid of some of the stuff on the SSD so that I can have more space on it?

Hi,

Download TreeSize Free Portable, run the program and let it scan the C: drive
https://www.jam-soft...=80&language=EN

It will show you what is using the disk space and from there you can decide what to do.

Hi SleepyDude,

Thanks for that ... using that program 'reminded me' of a couple of folders in my document section where I burn movies and books that they are saved there when I'm done ... deleted them and boom ... more free space

Sometimes I'm just so forgetful :)

  Don't forget to run the Windows Disk Cleanup it includes options to remove old Windows Updates and old Windows 10 backups created during Windows 10 Upgrades.
