I have a new laptop. Since I bought it, I have not been able to run any type of scan, virus, spyware, or adware. Every time I attempt to run a scan the computer goes into what appears to be hibernation mode. (The monitor shuts off, but the computer power light is still on). I have run all the suggestions you have given and I have attempted to run the scans in Safe Mode. All to no avail. I have IE 6 browers and Windows XP on my Toshiba laptop.
Here is my hijack this log Please help ASAP
