When hear i switch my pc on or hold the reset button my pc makes a loud beep. I don't have a clue what this means any help would be much appreciated. :tazz:

If it is just one beep then Windows loads, it is POST, Power On Self Test

Abbreviated POST, a diagnostic testing sequence run by a computer’s BIOS as the computer’s power is initially turned on. The POST will determine if the computer’s RAM, disk drives, peripheral devices and other hardware components are properly working. If the diagnostic determines that everything is in working order, the computer will continue to boot.

WOuld the beep stay on when you hold the reset button though?.

I would not have thought so, but holding the reset button isn't good anyway
