I got a strange problem yesterday. Yesterday I connected my external hard disk to my Windows 10 computer to restore some file I had backed up previously. My PC is a bit slow and took long time to open the file I needed. So, I tried to close the Window and computer stuck. So, I restarted the PC and accessed to external hard disk. There was nothing. I connected it to another computer to check. It also didn't show anything. So ,I left it for a sometime and checked again.. all the file were there and hard disk was working fine.If someone know, could you please what was happening there?

It looks like the external hard drive developed bad sector. The best way to recover your files is to use good file recovery software.

Recuva
Glary Undelete
Disk Drill
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard
DiskDigger
TestDisk
PC INSPECTOR File Recovery
Puran File Recovery
Undelete Plus
