Zoom used to work on my MacBook before the update in April.  I updated Zoom and now when I try to join a meeting it asks if I want to update now or later.  When I click join later,  because I have the latest update, it won't let me join the meeting and keeps asking me to update.

 

This is a mid 2007 MacBook so maybe the update doesn't work on this machine?!?

 

Any help getting Zoom to work on this machine would be greatly appreciated!!

If I choose to do the update, I get a message that says "connecting" with a spinner but it nothing happens.  I have even left it alone for about 20 minutes but it never "connects".  Then when I X out to close it, it asks me if I'm sure I want to leave the meeting.
