Hi,

I got a zip file and before I've extracted it I scanned it using windows defender (Win10). It found a "trojan win32/credential access rfn".

I immediately deleted the zip file and ran several scans using the windows defender (quick, full and offline scan). All scans showed no treats of malware.

I also didn't see any slowdown in the system performance or other strange behavior.

Is it safe to keep using the PC or should I reset the PC (factory reset)?

Is it possible that the malware is still there but is no longer seen by the windows defender?

Thanks
