Does the graphic card meet the requirements, because I played Doom III on here and it skipped because of the processor and graphic card, also your RAM might not be up to date with it.

If it used to work fine, then you know it is possible, so make sure you there are not a bunch of programs starting up when you log on. Try closing the ones that do, like in the tray, and check your startup folder to see if you can shut down whatever is running in there. Remember, you might need some of the stuff that is starting up, so make sure it isn't something u need before you close it. Hit Ctrl alt del and go to performance tab before you run the game. Try this b4 closing all the apps, and try again after closing them and notice the difference. What is your cpu usage and pf usage b4 and after closing programs? Most likely u just have more stuff running than you did a year ago. If that doesn't work, then let us know we'll do some checks to figure this out.

Hi Skys, Were doing this a little differently as your in Live Chat.
Your computer has a number of spyware programs that we need to remove. For more info on spyware see the Spyware Tools link in my signature.

Please run a free online virus scan here (tick the "Auto Clean checkbox):
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

And a free trojan scan here:
http://www.moosoft.com/

Ok, next a free program. Ad-aware.

Using Ad-aware: Open Ad-Aware and use the Check for updates now link. Download and accept the latest reference file. When finished click the Start button. When done scanning, the Abort button will change to Next. Click the Next button. Right-click in the Scanning Results window and click "Select all objects". Then click the "Next" button and confirm that you want to delete the selected entries.

When finished, Reboot your computer.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

C:\WINDOWS\System32\qpdjrl.exe
C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe 1
C:\Documents and Settings\David\Application Data\amee.exe
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Reboot your PC.

Please Download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program. Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows. Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and remove all traces of [file]. Reboot.

Next thing. This is important because your vulnerable and likely to be reinfected. Get microsoft updates : Click here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
-or-
Order if you're on dial-up, order a free CD here:
http://www.microsoft...default810.mspx

After all this:
If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system and games are working. <_<
