Hi-
Have an older Nvidia Quadro K2200 which has 2 display ports and a DVI-D.
I'm using the two display ports for two 24inch ASUS PA248s stacked vertically and all's well.
I do a lot of graphic, video and audio work and in the various software types for same, there are a LOT of optional and functional windows
that can be undocked and moved around. I use the TOP monitor for either full screen playback in video software OR say in audio,
for the mixing console portion of the DAW.
In my set-up, I have one monitor over the other but have room to add two little 10 inch monitors to the left and right sides.
What I envision is being able to drag some of those software utility windows down to the "little guys" (EXTEND) to free-up more space on the larger monitor.
I have a free DVI-D port on the K2200 Card. However, I see that most 10 inch monitors have VGA ports and some DP I guess. BUT...need to have TWO mini monitors.
How best, if at all possible, to add these 2 little monitors???
Could it even work in EXTEND mode and not just MIRROR?
MANY many thanks for any pro advice or thoughts!
My brain is fried by reading would-be, could be, scenarios online
and stumbled upon this marvelous site.
Hope someone might be able to steer me in the right direction........the bar? '-)
Thanks for any help, Bob
