:tazz: Aww, I restored my computer, then I'm trying to install this program called "Norton Internet Security 2005". Hmph, I boot in the CD, then it takes me to a screen that gives me three options. 1) Install Norton Internet Security 2005 2) Browse.. 3) Exit. I click on the first option & nothing happens.

Also, I go to my control panel and go to add/remove programs. I try to uninstall Norton Internet Security 2005, "change" and "remove" are two buttons I could press, but nothing happens when I press either of the buttons.

Can someone please help me??

right click on the drive the cds in and hit explore and look for something like setup.exe
and there whould be a bunch of folders with different utilities for the program. also see if theres an autorun.exe file, that should take you to the same screen...if that doesnt work, (ive never had to do this) but try installing it in safe mode, NOTE: you [B]cannot use/access internet in safe mode, dont even try, its impossible

I don't reccommend Nortons but to COMPLETELY uninstall it you must first visit symantecs page here for a special removal tool.

http://service1.syma...=&osv=&osv_lvl=

After completly removing Nortons, If you still feel inclined to use this program try installing freshly.

Let me know either way, I have other tricks as well.
