I ran the PC Health app in my computer (bought Feb 2017) and the result showed that the processor wasn't currently supported. I took the risk and upgraded, doing a clean install via the Windows media tool (there isn't any other way actually, when the result from the app is not positive). Now, I am running Windows 11 and quality, definition, driver and other updates have been also installed.

I will be informing you about my experience.

Has anyone else upgraded?

I too have run the PC health app and my system is not supported. So at this time I would not risk installing Windows 11 but will keep looking on here to see how things develop.

GOOD STUFF
  • New modern UI and sounds
  • Snap Assist multitasking feature
  • Fast and responsive on modern hardware
BAD STUFF
  • Missing features like universal mute, Android apps, and Dynamic Refresh Rate
  • The taskbar is a giant step back
  • Dark mode and UI changes aren’t consistent

New PC came with W11 pre-installed.

Lots of annoyances to disable (same as when I first upgraded to W10), and the UI will take some time to get used to.

OS still buggy. MS really do have to learn to test things better before they release them to the public. But given time I suppose the bugs will get patched.

All that being said, I do prefer it to W10, and my new machine is much faster than my previous (but then that's because this one is SSD and the previous was HDD).
