Okay, I need help. When I connect the mouse to the back of the hard drive it's all loose and the mouse doesn't move at all, and there is nothing wrong with the mouse because it's brand new. What might be the problem?

What type of mouse is it (PS/2, USB)? When you connect it to the rear panel of your computer is SHOULD NOT be loose, that may be your problem right there.
