Hi..... i don't know where i got the malware or the spyware...but my normal wallpaper is gone and i have an error messege. i only have setting and screensaver in my display properties.... and iran hijackthis and i don't know what to do....please help....thanks alot ^^

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Reboot into safe mode.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Please delete these files using Windows Explorer(if present):

C:\WINDOWS\pumba2.dll

After that, Reboot.

Now right click Here and select Save As and save the file to your desktop. Then doubld click on the reg file and allow it to merge with your registry.

Reboot again and report back with how things are going along with a new HJT log.

ScHwErV, thank you very very much..i did install spybot search and destroy and the ie-spyad... great help on the info about how i might have gotten the malware....you are THE BOMB ^^ thanks again
