ok no results of the wncnmrtd file

the svchost brought this up

Only suggestion I have left is to access the Windows Update site if possible and install SP2 and see if that helps at all!

nope one of the problems is that i cant access the windows update site

so is that all we can try then??

just to let you know that i have had to fix this problem by reinstallation and it is all fine now, just like to say thanks to cretemonster for all the help in trying to fix my problem
