Tickle Iq Popups And Lycos Sidesearch

I get lycos sidesearch bars and tickle IQ popups on my university's website, which is supposedly ad free. A minor inconvenience, but they pop up as i'm entering passwords, etc, for emails. makes me wondering who's seeing what. I have symantic anti-virus and lavasoft ad aware. Here's my hijack log:

I looked for the c:\windows\system32\rassapi.exe program, but all i could find was a rassapi.dll file. I didn't delete it. Should I?

Also, I still have the lycos sidesearch bar poping up on the left side of the screen. Anything I can do about that?

No. Leave that file. Tell me more about the sidesearch. Does it pop up when you open your browser or when you reboot your computer. Have you run adaware and spybot? Did you delete your cookies?

So here's my concern:

I get a bar that pops up on the left side of my screen, similar to the "history" or "favorites" bar, only it's titled Lycos SideSearch, acting like a search helper. It pops up whenever I enter information into a text box, but only into certain webpages. I have this webpage (geekstogo.com) bookmarked, and when I clicked on the link from "my favorites" page, the side search popped up. Also, whenever I login to anything from my school's webpage (www.georgetown.edu), the sidesearch pops in. This bothers me because I'm concerned that something can record my username and password. Also, I keep getting TickleIQ popups and something about "product research" when I'm on a georgetown website. I know my school isn't taking ads; is it possible that the georgetown server has some kind of popup virus and that's why I experience popups when on their site?

I've run pest patrol and spy sweeper for the one-free-trial-before-we-make-you-pay deal, and deleted all the spyware they've detected. Additionally, I have Ad-Aware, which I update and run once a week. I also use Symantec virus scan.

This might be georgetown's problem and not mine. Any suggestions?

Try this and let me know if it goes away.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.
