I havelost the desktop quick launch icon. Can someone suggest a method to restore this function ?

Right click desktop, add shortcut, browse to c:\documents and settings\"your username"\application data\microsoft\internet explorer\quick launch\show desktop

create that short cut and drag it into the quick launch toolbar. This is probably the long way to do it as I do not know the quick way. Also this is for xp, i'm not exactly sure if it is in the same location in 98. If not, then do a search for show desktop. The procedure should be done in the same manner.
